NEWTOP CHEMICAL Commissions 100,000-ton Amine Production Base in Shandong
NEWTOP CHEMICAL has officially commissioned its invested production base in Shandong, which focuses on high-end amine products including amine catalysts, epoxy curing agents and pharmaceutical intermediates. With an annual capacity exceeding 100,000 tons, the base is set to refine the company’s global production footprint and strengthen its competitiveness in the high-end market.
The global chemical industry is shifting toward high-end, green development, and amine materials are widely applied in construction, automotive, pharmaceutical and other sectors. Data indicates that the global amine market size is projected to surpass USD 50 billion by 2034, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.3%, where specialty amines serve as the core growth driver. Seizing this opportunity, NEWTOP CHEMICAL has broken through the barrier from R&D to large-scale production.
Serving as a strategic hub in northern China, the Shandong base leverages local strengths in raw materials and logistics, and adopts advanced continuous production processes to achieve efficient and eco-friendly operations. Its amine catalysts address the shortcomings of traditional products, while curing agents cater to precision manufacturing needs and pharmaceutical intermediates fill the gap in high-end segments.
Founded in Shanghai in 2011, NEWTOP CHEMICAL previously established production bases in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, boasting an annual capacity of over 100,000 tons. Its products are exported overseas and supply leading enterprises such as Wanhua Chemical. The Shandong commissioning not only expands production capacity but also optimizes the industrial chain, enabling the company to better serve customers in northern China and enhance cost-efficiency.
Industry analysts note that the base’s commissioning will heighten competition in the high-end amine market and drive industrial chain synergy. Once production capacity is fully released, NEWTOP CHEMICAL is expected to further reduce costs, boost market penetration, and consolidate its leading position in niche segments.
NEWTOP CHEMICAL executives stated that taking the Shandong base as a springboard, the company will increase R&D investment, expand application scenarios, push forward its global expansion, strive to become a core global supplier of high-end amines, and contribute to the upgrading of China’s chemical industry.
